This gay fantasy manga by Masaki Yamada opens with a military story, full of crazed, urgent super-action that explodes now and then into mind and body blowing sex. However the remaining seven stories go off on somewhat different tangents, not necessarily military related at all.
All up, Ureshi-Hazukashi Yasen Kunen is a very queer mish-mash of “big brother, little brother” earnest youthful lust, horror, freakishness, fantasy, sci-fi, and all sorts of other off-the-wallness - punctured constantly, of course, by sex, most of it violent.
This is one of the more interesting styles of gay manga in its scope and imagination, not constantly featuring the close-up graphic phallic thrust that monopolize the pages of so many others.
