Shipping costs are not included in the cost of an item unless stated.
Purchased items are shipped by SAL+, Registered International Small Packet formerly ePacket or by express registered mail - EMS. All 3 methods are signed for, registered mail and can be tracked online. we will send you a tracking number when your item is sent from Japan.
EMS is the fastest and most reliable of our shipping options and normally takes 3-4 business days to the USA.
Registered International Small Packet previously known as ePacket can take 5-10 business days to reach the USA, while SAL+ (where international mail is handled as surface mail in Japan and the destination country and as airmail between the two countries), is the slowest and cheapest of the shipping methods, can take around 2 weeks or up to 30 days in the worst case scenario. Note: SAL cannot be tracked outside of Japan.
Registered International Small Packet or 小型包装物書留 in Japanese (formerly ePacket) is a new insured and trackable postal service for small packets weighing up to 2000g and usually takes 5 days to the USA from Japan.
If you wish to have your goods shipped by Japanese express registered mail (EMS) for extra speed, protection and peace of mind please choose the EMS option.
All goods over US$150 in value are sent by EMS.

International Orders - Customs Duties
All international orders are subject to any applicable customs duties and associated assessments and fees. This remains entirely the responsibility of the purchaser.
UK Orders - Recent orders shipped to the UK via International Air Parcel Post (Parcel Force in UK) have been charged 12% Import Duty (on items classed as 'luxury' goods); 17.5% VAT plus £5.25 Customs clearance fee.
Canada Orders - For an order with EMS shipping, please be sure to include the telephone number for the forwarding address.
Delivery times are normally 7-10 business days for normal mail and 3-4 business days for EMS, though this may vary according to the country shipped to.

Reshipping - If an item is returned to us due to the fact that the shipping address supplied at the time of purchase was incorrect or no longer valid or no one was home at the time of delivery, we will resend the item but these and all further shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. The same policy holds true in the event of a clothing item, etc., that does not fit but was shipped by GoodsFromJapan.com as ordered by the client. Always double-check the sizes as noted on the site.
