This novelty kendama combines the arts of the kendama and the kokeshi doll maker to produce a superb hybrid. The design of the tama uses the motif of a daruma - a popular good luck charm in Japan. "Fuku" means good luck in Japanese.
These kendama are produced from locally sourced cherry wood in Iwaki city in Fukushima Prefecture in the north of Japan.
