Tenugui, a type of small Japanese towel, is a Tunagu original, hand made with a design by Mangrove. Once you start using it, you will become addicted to the many uses of this tenugui.

How to Care:
When washing, avoid washing with other items and do not use synthetic detergents, fluorescent brighteners or bleaches.
After washing, adjust the shape and dry in the shade.
Do not leave it wet or wash it after soaking.
When ironing, dampen with a mist spray or steam.
If the uncut ends become frayed, cut only the weft with scissors, so that it will be less frayed.
To make this tenugui, we hand-carved the original drawing of the vessels, created a paper pattern, and had it dyed by the method called Chusen.
Chusen, as the name suggests, is a technique of pouring dye and dyeing. This technique, which can dye 20 to 30 pieces at once, was born in Osaka during the Meiji Period.
One piece of cloth is layered in a bellows shape and dyed twice on the front and back, so both sides will be dyed beautifully.
In addition, there are many processes in Chusen, and all of them are hand work by craftsmen, so there is no same product as one.
The most attractive point of Chusen is the indescribable texture of delicacy and gentle gradation or bleeding of colors, which can be expressed only by the manual work of craftsmen and women.
