This new design solar maneki neko is called "Maru Maru" or chubby maneki neko. Symbolizing happiness and contentment this solar maneki neko is 11cm tall. The Japanese characters on the coin are fuku (happiness) and raku (cheerful) and together read "fukkura" meaning chubby or plump - a play on words. Available in red, green, yellow and pink colors.
