The instructions are in full-colour and include step-by-step photographic and written (in English) directions. Using handmade Japanese ‘yuzen washi’ paper (assorted designs) you will learn to fold the shape of a kimono around the doll’s body and give her a variety of hairstyles and hair ornaments, whilst using ‘nori’ rice paste glue, Japan’s favourite adhesive (large 70g tube included).
Kit includes 11 sheets of assorted designs of yuzen washi paper so you can choose kimono, obi and collar combinations for each doll.When you have followed the instructions you will have produced a stunning series of kimono dolls to use in craft decoration.
Kit size approx. 24cm x 15cm. Each doll is approx. 12cm x 6.5cm when made.
